Automatic Payments

When the backend handling automatic payments was replaced, every bank system touching it had to keep working, because standing payments are the kind of thing customers never think about until one fails. The project reached across several existing systems at Länsförsäkringar Bank to make sure the change landed without anyone outside noticing.

Technical project manager and developer at once, which meant planning the work across systems and then writing code as part of delivering it. Coordination-heavy by nature, since the risk lived in the seams between systems rather than inside any one of them.
