The HBO GO streaming app for the US market on TV platforms: Samsung Orsay, TiVo set-top boxes and hotel systems running LG and Enseo devices. One codebase delivering HBO’s catalog to millions of American subscribers on wildly different, often low-powered TV hardware, where smooth playback and snappy navigation have to be earned. HBO GO has since been renamed and rebranded into what is now HBO Max.

Senior Frontend developer shipping the app across platforms and devices: building new features in a modern codebase while untangling tricky problems in a legacy one, with releases pushed to production on a regular basis. Much of the craft was performance work, making a streaming experience feel responsive on constrained TV hardware.
