Insourcing Matchmaking Tool

The digital backbone of EY’s Insourcing Services, the unit that places finance consultants with clients across Sweden. What used to be manual matchmaking became a web application that finds the best candidate for a given client and project, complete with a back-office where consultants manage their skills, CVs and personal video presentations. Built from scratch and evolved over two years alongside the growing business, it became the tool the unit ran its matching on every day.

The entire product in one pair of hands: I designed and built the full experience over a two-year engagement, from a responsive client app to the Node backend with MongoDB underneath, deployed on Heroku and AWS. The app started in Angular and was moved to React and GraphQL along the way, keeping the stack sharp while the business kept running. A personal favorite: the video CV feature, which made candidate matching feel human rather than like reading a spreadsheet.
