The calculation engine behind Nordea’s investment advice for its wealthiest clients, the bank’s most important segment. Given a customer’s current portfolio, the system computed risk and return with advanced financial models, then did the same for a better-allocated portfolio to recommend, all presented so that complex math became simple to grasp in the advisory meeting. Risk profiling of this kind also carries regulatory weight, so precision was not optional.

Senior Fullstack developer across the entire system: the Angular frontend, the API and the Java backend with its calculation logic all sat on my desk.
